What are peptides?
Short chains of amino acids. Smaller than a protein, bigger than a single amino acid. Your body makes them constantly. They’re signaling molecules, telling cells to repair tissue, build muscle, produce collagen. You make fewer of them as you age. That’s the whole premise behind why people go looking.
Why do people search for peptides right now?
Three reasons show up over and over.
- Muscle recovery and repair. Athletes and lifters use peptides to bounce back faster from training and protect joints and tendons under load. If that sounds like something I’d care about at 57 racing 75 miles on one gear, it is.
- Weight loss and metabolic support. Same conversation as GLP-1s, different molecule. People want help with fat metabolism without losing what they’re not trying to lose.
- Anti-aging and skin. Collagen production slows with age. Peptides are the most searched-for answer to sagging skin and slower healing.
How to get peptides prescribed through BelleMD
Tranont’s BelleMD telehealth partnership is the same pathway as GLP-1 therapy. You complete a health history, a licensed provider reviews it, and if it’s clinically appropriate they can prescribe peptide therapies alongside GLP-1 medications.
Neither Cheryl nor I prescribe anything. We don’t see your labs. We aren’t in that conversation at all, and we shouldn’t be.
What we’re straight about
We’re not doctors. Nothing here is medical advice. Whatever anyone experiences comes down to their medical protocol, their training, their nutrition, and consistency across all three. Individual results vary. This isn’t a product that works because you bought it.
