GLP-1 Support

I don’t use GLP-1s.

Not because I have a problem with them. My problem runs the other direction. At 57, racing 75 miles on one gear, I fight to keep weight on, not take it off. That’s a different body and a different fight, and mine doesn’t qualify me to judge yours.

What I have done is watch these medications change people’s lives. Not a little. Completely. People who fought their weight for thirty years and lost every round. That isn’t willpower failing. That’s biology winning. If a medication levels that field, good. Whether it’s right for you is between you and a licensed provider.

What these actually are

GLP-1 receptor agonists copy a hormone your gut releases after you eat. They slow stomach emptying, signal fullness, and affect blood sugar. They were developed for type 2 diabetes. Several are now FDA approved for chronic weight management.

Getting one through BelleMD

Tranont partnered with BelleMD, a telehealth platform, on July 1, 2026. You complete a health history, a licensed provider reviews it, and if it’s clinically appropriate they can prescribe GLP-1 therapies and other prescription peptides.

Neither Cheryl nor I prescribe anything. We don’t see your labs. We aren’t in that conversation at all, and we shouldn’t be.

The part nobody warns you about

When you eat dramatically less, you don’t only lose fat. A meaningful share of rapid weight loss can come off as lean mass. You also take in less protein, less fiber, fewer micronutrients, and less water, because you’re eating less of everything.

The complaints are predictable: fatigue, constipation, hair thinning, loose skin, and strength going backwards.

None of that is an argument against doing it. It’s an argument for eating and training like you plan to keep the results.

Filling the gaps

Tranont built the GLP-1 Support Bundles around exactly those gaps: hydration, protein intake, digestive health, lean muscle maintenance, and skin.

Being straight with you about what these are. They’re food and nutrition products. They don’t treat, cure, or prevent anything. They don’t replace what your provider gives you, and they don’t cause weight loss on their own. Whatever anyone sees is a combination of their medical protocol, what they eat, how they move, and how consistently they do both. Individual results vary.

Three things I’d tell a friend

Lift something heavy twice a week. Protecting muscle is the entire game. Weight coming off means nothing if half of it is the thing that keeps you moving at 70.

Hit your protein even when you’re not hungry. Especially then. Appetite is the thing the medication turns off. Your protein requirement doesn’t get the memo.

Don’t let the scale be the only measure. Strength, sleep, and energy tell you whether you’re losing fat or losing yourself.

Different road than yours, same rule: you build the body you’re going to live in.
